About our Pens
Custom pens use a pre-made nib (or nib unit) and everything else is handcrafted. Creating our bespoke pens involves -mainly- the use of a metal and a wood lathe to shape the parts of the writing instruments: Grip section, Body and Cap. To make these parts we choose materials such as wood, ebonite, metals, stones and acrylics.
 
About this piece:
The seventh rune of the Futhark alphabet is called "Gebo". This rune stands for gift and means as much as gift. It can be a material gift, but also a spiritual gift. Gebo means harmony between giving and taking. It also stands for the fact that everyone can determine his own path in life. Gebo includes the bonds, contacts and relationships between gods and people.
Rune Gebo is the nordic Rune of mutual respect, friendship and free partnership. Gebo is the rune of harmony and partnership, building relationships, concluding agreements and communication.
