Custom Pens - KLEPNMK118FP - "Panamarenko"
About our Pens
Custom pens use a pre-made nib (or nib unit) and everything else is handcrafted. Creating our bespoke pens involves -mainly- the use of a metal and a wood lathe to shape the parts of the writing instruments: Grip section, Body, and Cap. To make these parts we choose materials such as wood, ebonite, metals and acrylics.
About this piece:
This pen was inspired by Panamarenko's masterpieces.
It is our tribute to his work in commemoration of his 80th birthday.
Henri Van Herwegen (5 February 1940 – 14 December 2019), known by the pseudonym Panamarenko, was a prominent and extraordinary Belgian artist born in Antwerp.
His work is a combination of artistic and technological experiment and takes different forms: airplanes, submarines, cars, flying carpets and birds: spectacular constructions of strange beauty and at the same time playful and impressive.
